Sandra Mjöll Jónsdóttir
An Icelandic artist living on the east coast of Iceland. Graduated with M.A. in photography from the Unversity of the Arts in 2008. She has had several solo exhibitons as well as participating in group shows and resedencies around the world.
Her interests lay first and foremost in art photography with an emphasis on staged photography. In the making of the images she looks at the narrative in them, and how the viewer approaches the images. Some of the poses suggest more internal dilemmas, while others aim at the actual physicality of being in that place and time.
